ohmygod, humans.
ah yes, the post-dressed, pre-litter, breaking-in-the-rubber-gloves-cause-they-are-still-so-housewife-cute booth shoot. i’m training for full-time human status like in them reality tv shows. it is always after i have finally managed to dress myself that i am motivated to clean the catbox. sick.

I brought the wrong (camera) battery charger home to Maryland… how bummed am I? Jenn and I bought a geode in Frederick and the guy cracked it in the back of his shop. My Dad and I gave each other the silent treatment just about all day. Brother and I are going to the shooting range in the morning. Stoked. By the way, take photographs at my funeral, please.

fisheye games
This Opteka fisheye (kit) lens was only $50 so the distortion/noise is pretty obvious, but the aesthetic result is completely worth it. Next up; I really could use some color management in my life again. I’m ashamed to have my camera set on AWB all the time.

the moms’ house ♥
yesterday i bought myself a new lens to replace my jammed 18-55 and a bargain fisheye attachment, now i play the terrible waiting game. i also bought myself a miniature shopping spree at community thrift (the. best. thrift. store. ever.) and i’ll be toting a couple freezer bags of old maps home with a video camera my mom never uses, and two cameras on loan for my photography project i feel i am forever preparing for. slowly but surely.
